Is A Painting Worth A Thousand Words?

Last year in May, Jeremiah Palecek set himself a goal of making one painting a day. While he didn’t quite achieve that goal, he says in his “about me” section that a year later, he had 154 paintings, all of which are for sale, some of which have already sold.

At between $100-200 dollars, payable via Paypal, many of these are a steal. This young Czech artist is well-degreed, having studied at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Connecticut, Glasgow School of Art, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Besides being well-educated, his paintings show a budding talent with a strong eye for colour.
